If that’s not enough for you, stop by Southlands. This newly-renovated outdoor mall offers the best in shopping, dining, and play. Things to Do

The Valley Country Club offers the best in golf, tennis, swimming, and dining. Their stunning 18-hole golf course and practice facilities are the best and biggest in Colorado.  The golf staff consists of four PGA and one LPGA instructor. 

 

Blackstone Country Club's facilities are some of the most beautiful around. With a state-of-the-art fitness center, various basketball and tennis courts, a private golf course, and several sparkling pools, you will never run out of things to enjoy. 

 

One of the most anticipated events in the area is Global Fest. Presented by the city, the Global Fest is a celebration of the various cultures and communities that have come together to make Aurora all it is today. This multicultural gathering is fun for all ages and includes music and dance performances, a parade of nations, and an international marketplace with vendors offering food, crafts, and more. 

 

Enjoy a day of Mother Nature at the Aurora Reservoir. The reservoir has an eight-mile-long loop trail primarily used for walking, biking, and fishing. While there, rent a boat or try your hand at archery at the on-site range.

 

With so many options for outdoor recreation, there is endless fun for all ages. Cherry Creek State Park is a longtime local favorite. This stunning 4,000-acre park and campground is home to a diverse range of Denver wildlife. Watch a stunning sunset along the Rocky Mountains at the gorgeous Cherry Creek Reservoir inside the park.  

 

For a combination of education and nature, the Star K Ranch’s Morrison Nature Center is the perfect place to go. Known for its diverse plant and animal life, the nature center will provide you with all of the tools you need to further learn about the wildlife you see on the property. Families especially enjoy the center’s library of kids' books, field guides, and manuals as well as a variety of seasonal, interactive shows, including animal dress-up and puppet shows.
